Mild sea salt rinse without alcohol
Swelling of the ice and take Tylenol
To reduce swelling, we recommend the use of ice bags on the lip (both interior and exterior)
To heal, I would recommend daily cleaning with a solution that would be 3x Sound (such as H2Ocean or girlfriend) or alternitavely a rock / soltuion sea salt (1 / 4 cup warm water with 1-2 teaspoons of using rock salt or sea)
Even the use of alcohol mouthwash after lunch to complete healing (which lasts for 4-12 weeks)

When I just use snakebites done to ensure access, it was cleaned properly. You can not really do anything to heal the swelling or if it is faster.
But I would try and see if ice is swelling so badly. Mine was just very swollen for the first day, the time is not so bad. Also, be sure not to put the piercing too much or received too can be a lot of time with a cousin irritable. Many people wanted to see what looked like back then when I had to do, and I turn my lower lip a few times. Dealing with liquid soap and a Q-tip, make sure you clean around the piercing too. You need a bit of pus, white matter, but it is normal that is not infected or anything.
Take your lip ring for at least a month. Lip piercing will never heal I had for 5 years and if I will be a few days close to the hole and the past week, as I sometimes dwell on drilling near the bar again
